  1. • Globalization has opened up broader communication lines and brought more companies as well as different worldwide organizations in
    • This provides opportunities for not only workingmen, but also women, who are becoming a larger part of the workforce.
    • Technology that may seem out-dated to the United States is viewed as modern technology to India.

  2. Positive effects are:
Goods which can't be produced in the own country can be bought. An example are fruits and vegetables. You can buy each sort of fruits all over the air as they are importet from countries like New Zealand.
Furthermore, the customer can benefit from Globalization as there exists a global competition, that means each company tries to sell their products as cheap as possible and in a good quality.
In general, Globalization has a great influence on industrial countries. Nowadays, everywhere you can eat Chinese or Italien food, for example

  3. I agree with kathi. A positive effect of globalization is that we communicate with other countries. Also we can have other products that can't be grown in our own country like fruits and vegetables. For example, the bananas we buy may come from Ecuador.

  4. Positive effects on globalization are that all the nations in the world that cannot produce a product can have the opportunity to have that product thanks to the trading of goods and services and companies are working together therefore creating more job opportunities to the nation.

  5. Globalization allows better communication between countries and that’s pretty important. Also it can build relationships between the countries trading. Globalization also allows you to trade for stuff your country may not of had.

  6. There are a lot of positive outcomes of globalization. Jobs open up for people, communication is taken to the next level, including technology. The phone and internet industry must be booming with business from companies worldwide. So not only has globalization helped a country import goods from other countries but also helped the communication industry with their business.
Since we get imports from a lot of places, we get a chance to eat foods and use products that we would have to pay a lot more to produce.
For example, in my class we read about getting our banana's from somewhere else. We could grow our own banana's but it would cost a lot more because we have a different environment than Equador, so we would have to purchase building supplies for a greenhouse and extra nutrients for the banana's to grow in a different place. But still we would have to purchase banana seeds from another country to even start this. So overall it is just so much cheaper for us to buy a product that is easily grown in another country than having to stress ourselves out trying to grow something foreign.

  7. I agree on the aspect most of you had, the improoving of communication. This is in my opinion the most important development which goes with the globalisation.
Also we can´t imagine to live without things which were produced in far away coutries. Nearly every computer is produced in Asia, many parts of our cell-phones are produced there ant more other stuff as well.
